Refund Policy

At HUMYN, we value our clients’ time and the dedication of our aides and service providers. To maintain fairness and efficiency, we have established the following refund and cancellation policy.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please notify us at least 12 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time.

  • Cancellations made more than 12 hours in advance:
    No charge will apply. You may reschedule your appointment at no additional cost.

  • Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the scheduled appointment:
    The full session rate will be charged. This applies to both privately funded and FSCD-funded clients, unless otherwise specified in your agreement.

  • No-shows (missed appointments without notice):
    The full session fee will be charged.

This policy is in place to respect the time and commitment of our aides, and to ensure consistency and reliability for all families we support.

Refunds

Payments made in advance are non-refundable if cancellation occurs within 12 hours of the scheduled session.
If a session is canceled with more than 12 hours’ notice, you may request either:

  • A full refund, or

  • A credit applied toward a future session.

Refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days via the original payment method.

Exceptions

We understand that emergencies can occur. HUMYN may, at its discretion, waive cancellation fees for:

  • Medical emergencies

  • Family emergencies

  • Unforeseen events such as severe weather or road closures

Clients requesting an exception must notify HUMYN as soon as possible and may be asked to provide supporting information.
